I have a similar setup at home, not wireless llinked, but the principal is the same.
On my first ADSL modem/router, it is sending out a static IP address (not DHCP) to my second router (eg 10.0.1.2). The second router then sends out DHCP addresses to my computers, using the 192.168.x.x ranges.
The port forwarding for various applications works, although like a fool i turned off the hardware firewall on the secong thinking it would help (it actually also disabled all port forwarding rules etc, knackering the whole setup!).
None of my machines actually connect directly to my primary ADSL router, and the wireless on that is turned off, so only the second (MIMO) router sends out wireless, but in theory it could.
In order to look at the routers, bear in mind they have a different address depending on the direction you are coming from, so the one closest to my PC i log in to on 192.168.0.1. This router has a different 10.0.x.x address from the other side.
Took my a while to understand it all but then i'm no network specialist
