I misunderstood your original post, sorry. It would appear that the DIMM either:

A: Has the wrong SPD according to the label.
Or....
B. Is labled incorrectly and has the correct SPD.

Regardless, it should still perform to expectation. If it is defective in any way, we'll be glad to replace it.
