I set up the access point's IP to be automatic, I thought the PC's one was already (even think I checked this)... it was late though, and I was losing the will. Will check again.
yeah it was set to automatic - it spends ages trying to acquire a network address - but that fails. Netgear's "smart navigator" says that the access point is connected to the correct network.
Anyone got any ideas?!
