The new Hexus Teams - Setting up Folding at Home

Here's the new team for F@H:

Team Stats
Folding@Home - After joining it may take a while before your name appears in this list.
More team stats: www.HEXUS.net - Team Summary - EXTREME Overclocking Folding @ Home Stats

1. Download Folding@home - Download, Install
2. Enter your username (search f@h site to make sure it's unique)
3. Enter 69776 as the team number.
4. Enter your passkey (get one here: http://folding.stanford.edu/English/FAQ-passkey)

ATI / Nvidia GPU Users - Graphics core folding - Using the GPU client:
Get the latest drivers for your graphics card: from ATI or nvidia

Dual Core / Quad Core Users - Multiple core folding - using the SMP client: *

2. Download the "Windows 2000/XP/Vista SMP client console version" from Folding@home - Download,
- scroll down to the high performance clients link to find the SMP clients and get the MPICH version -
3. Run the FAH setup program you've just downloaded in step 1.
4. Run install.bat from the F@H directory
5. Run the fah.exe client
6. Enter your username (search f@h site to make sure it's unique)
7. Enter 69776 as the team number.
8. Enter your passkey (get one here: http://folding.stanford.edu/English/FAQ-passkey)
9. Setup a shortcut the the fah program and add -smp to enable multi-processor support

Still not sure? - Choosing the most productive / best client to run:
How points are calculated for F@H (by webby)

NB - SMP does not currently allow running FAH as a service (so do not enable that feature when asked).

* Instructions tested with Windows XP, for Vista you will need to run the program as admin, and will need to run the install.bat file from a cmd prompt that has also been run as administrator (for more information see the Vista SMP instruction on the folding at home wiki). For both XP and Vista - your windows user account needs to have a password, blank passwords will not work.

There have been some "teething" problems, and a reinstall, or allowing units over 5mb may help, also make sure the client does not use Internet Explorer internet settings as this can cause problems

There's also a Seti@Home Hexus Team as well just in case anyone's interested:
www.HEXUS.net

For anyone that wants to do compute against cancer, you can do that here:
Compute Against Cancer - Powered by Parabon Computation, Inc. (but there doesn't appear to be any team system in place).
