I am RC but haven't practiced for years but i do go to midnight mass every year. It kinda bothers me a bit that there are ever increasing numbers every year who have no idea why we celebrate Christmas. When I was a kid 95% of cards we got had a representation of Jesus or the wise men or the shepherds or something similar and now, as I look round the room, I've got about 100 cards of which 5 have something to do with the real reason we celebrate Christmas and the resT are a mish-mash of oddities ranging from Christmas trees to a picture of Ozzy and Kelly singing Changes with text bubbles coming out their mouths (v tragic card) and another one with Homer Simpson mooning to Santa Claus
