Point well made - with WiFi on a desktop PC, it can even be necessary to add an external antenna on an extension lead.

Though, fact is, I'd try VERY hard to avoid using WiFi for a desktop PC and would opt for mains-borne networking every time if wired Ethernet weren't available - mains-borne is so much better in every regard than wireless.

As for the aesthetics, I actually quite like the look of an antenna on the front and wouldn't worry if it stopped the door from closing - I pull off the front-covers of any PC I own any way (I can hear DR gasping as he reads this).
