| OK, I have done LOTS of testing, and it seems you do not need to create a RAID array as I thouight in my post above - the reason it did not boot and could not find a boot disk is simple - if the original pre-RAID boot disk is not at the top of the hard disk boot sequence - it won't. And making changes to the BIOS RAID setting or adding hard disks etc will result in boot sequence changes. Try to make each and every day the best it can be. |
