I have ordered a nice new 22" Cibox widescreen monitors (if you believe City Link they are going to deliver it a day early
) and now I am beginning to wonder whether it would be worth changing my graphics card.
My present system is a socket AMD Athlon 64 socket 746 running at 2000MHz with 1GB ram and a 9800pro 128MB graphics card and everything seems OK at 1024 x 768 resolution in games.
Short of rebuilding the whole system would there be any real benefit in upgrading the graphics card to a 512MB X1950pro or X1650pro. I assume the extra memory on the graphics card would help in running the higher resolution.
