I would have thought that the power supply would be ok. I have just bought a sapphire x1950pro 512mb agp card and am only currently running it with 400w power supply. The bois screen is a funny colour when starting up, guess it's because everything starts up at the same time, HD's, DVD drives, etc. But it then runs fines after.
