Great thread Clunk - has really helped me out

One question though... why do you need to turn off EIST, Thermal Control, C1E, etc? I've done as you said and clocked my Q6600 G0 up from 2.4 to 3 GHz now. So what would happen if I turned these power-saving features back on now?
