i would get a phone or PDA that can play music personally.

i use my axim to play music, and while i use SD cards to store music so i can only get 4gb cards, i can carry multiple cards. that and if i need additional codecs (codices?) i can just install them. the same with battery life, while without using its screen it only has about 5 - 6 battery life playing music, additional batteries are cheap and changing them take 5 seconds.

i know that may sound like alot of faf, but it really isnt that hard, and the flexibility you get from such a multi purpose device more than compensates.

really, divergent devices should have disappeared years ago...
