Long story short, I went on a booze cruise a couple of weeks ago, and having nipped up to Belgium to purchase 30 packs of Golden Virginia and two bottles of Tia Maria, I then forgot to hide them when we parked up in Calais and went into the hypermarket for bulk booze purchasing. When we came back, someone had broken one of the rear windows and had it all away. Moral of the story- don't get careless.
So anyway- I've been driving around with a binbag gaffa taped over the hole for the last couple of weeks, which is a) irritatingly flappy and b) bad for all round visibility. It needs fixing, but since I'm already down £125 I'm loathe to pay anyone to do the job for me when I reckon I could most likely do it myself. Is it within the means of a determined amateur? It's only a manual winder etc. (it's a base model 1.9D RL Clio Mk1 Phase II). How much would a breaker want for the glass? And is it fairly obvious how to put it in?
All advice appreciated
