Re: Abit IX38 Quad GT

Hi Supershanks

I have one of these boards (still in it's box) with a Q6600
Based of your review I was think of taking it back and swapping out for an Asus Maximus Formula SE
The northbridge temps bother me as I want a silent PC using a Zalman Reserator XT to cool it

The Asus board itself has it's own problems but seems to have at least a fan base or sorts

Do you think this would be the right move? or would you recommend another board entirely (maybe the Gigabyte X38 board or a P35 board)
Or in your opinion should I just unbox the Abit and solder on

Many thanks

RON
