Re: **Official ABIT IP-35 Pro Review/Overclock/Guide Thread**

Yea I would like to have all solid state capacitators, and uGuru sounds really good. I prefer to do all my OC'ing in bios though.

MSI has a software called Dual Core centre, but vista blocks it from accessing vbios settings because it isnt digitally signed :x

But its still useful for displaying CPU temp.

Going by the reviews on anandtech and on the specifications, It would seem the Abit I35-pro (Gold award) makes the best enthusiast board over the MSI platinum, and the MSI Neo 2 makes the best budget board at £66 (silver award).

The first motherboard I looked at was the Intel iP35 express. I read the specification sheet and it locks memory voltage at 1.8v and locks timings to default (Only compatible with 4-4-4-12 and 5-5-5-15 memory @ 1.8v).

Note to intel - stop making motherboards please

I very nearly bought it too because the box looked nice....
