I'd already downloaded (but not installed) that one, before the Steam one appeared. So I wasted another week of downloads for the steam one. When you first start downloading it does give you a link to a website but the fool that I am I didn't take note of it, thinking I'd be able to register later (after the download finished).

Would anyone else be able to start downloading the eve trial on steam and passing on the url of the link it suggests? (could then cancel the downloading).
