Hmm I was going to suggest Elite Beat Agents as its one of the best on the DS - but not really tube friendly.
Advance Wars DS (or the new one whos name escapes me) would work well, can be played without the touch and as its turn based theres no need to pause it when you have to reposition yourself 
Mario 64 is also great on the DS, even if you have played it before on the N64.
