I went to the one in 2002 at Fairford, I think one of the days it was on was supposed to be the Vulcans last flight. I have the souvenir programme right next to me infact.
I went the day after the Italian spectre gunship sort of crashed landed (air pressure drop or something like that when doing a nose dive landing demonstration, front wheel came off).
Was a cool day enjoyed it, was special day too as I got to see the UFO
