OMG did I have some fun i was all over the lake at one point I thought I was going to run out of backing line. Anyway managed to get it in on 10lb leader a nice fat 12lb Pike on a fly fishing ROD!
But I do enjoy going to Linear Fisheries and going for the Big Carp...

One swirly morning on Hollinworth Lake me and my mate (Bream fishing) managed to attract a swarm of pike into our swim, they were literally grabbing our roach from our hooks as we were reeling them in, and were randomly swirling on the top. Its quite surreal to watch a pike tail and top fin moving around the surface, like a Carp/Shark on a hot day. Luckily we have some spinning tackle out and my mate managed to bag a 5lb'er right under his feet, and im talking 5 foot out MAX!
