I've read on other forums that all the new asus mobo have this issue due to the chipset.
Actually I have a p5b (chipset intel p965) and it acts like described above when i overclock (only when i cut the power off). If I leave the pc connected to the electric line it won't present fake boot.
I havent had this issue

I think alot of the P35 have though.
Also, the Vdroop on the ABIT boards is never as bad (not noticeable on this one), as the ASUS ones.
