You don't really get many TV's with speaker sockets now I'm afraid. Usually just audio line outs, which this doesn't seem to have either. But if it has a headphone socket you can hook that up to a hi-fi. Either by using an adaptor

If you were using a surrond system, this would let you get pro-logic, but not any form of digital surround.

It wouldn't give digital sound from TV shows, which is a pity. But if it's for PS3, or any other external source, you'd hook them directly to the surround system anyway
