I need something portable, as the plan is to use it to use it to hold images from my camera while I'm away. I have a 40Gb 2.5" SATA disk, hence the need for a portable SATA solution: the N1200 looks like a desktop product, and I can't see anything about running it off batteries on the Thecus site.
Sadly it looks like nothing exists that fits my requirements.
