Grab a tent, head to the lake district and visit a few of the places
A few years ago we found a camp site with basic ammenties in Hawkshead (toliet and shower which was cold) and we only had to pay 2 pounds each per night and spent the rest on things like fishing trips where they cooked your trout you caught, pub crawls and stuff like that.
