Fair point dangel - but I've got so much software that if I load up the default hardware profile I still get a load of services that seem to slow down boot up. So to disable manually on the fly would take some time. Maybe the difference isn't that much! - I just don't like the fact that every software programmer thinks that as soon as you switch on your PC their application must be running!
