Well, the Thecus devices were not made for this. And all we did already was discussing ways to do this via SSH shell. All in all Omega already gave the right help.

- install sysuser
- install ssh
- install rsync
- login via SSH (from windoof: Putty)
- type the line Omega suggested
- go take a nap or two.

I can't think of more help regarding this subject. And if you want a solution, create one! It's not Thecus' responsibility, as they did not advertise this functionality.

Hardware mods:
# they void your warranty
# they may seem to work, but kill your machine later on
# they are mostly unneeded, because the engineers who built a machine knew what they were doing...
