I had a secondhand Thecus N4100+ with two harddisks in RAID 1 configuration. Since several weeks, my N4100+ won t boot anymore. It powers up but then it hangs with a blinking orange LED that keeps on flashing. I removed the harddisks but the problem remains. Maybe one of the things you might want to do is find an old drive to use for JBOD config and then try reseting unit to default. After default, try performing latest firmware update. Lastly - try reseating the memory module and see what happens.
There's not likely much you can do by what your describing unless other fellow members has any suggestions.
