I predict a whole load of excuses as to why this is impossible for a modern operating system to do, but all it requires is a little thinking out of the box.
Seems like you are missing my point. Computer usage now is different to 10 years ago. A modern OS on modern hardware is great for modern usage. At the end of the day that's all that's important.
