Have Corsair got anything to say about why the 8GB Voyager is so much faster?
Seems bizarre that the newer product (Survivor) would be slower? Or is the Voyager actually a more recent design?
Especially given the large size, if you have a lot of data that's going to be a lot of waiting... 10+ minutes for a DVD image or something
Even accounting for the swapping sticks time, you could buy 4x 8GB voyagers and transfer your data quicker and be on the move with some just as tough sticks which worked out cheaper...
