Has the video recorded into a FAT32 or an NTFS partition?
(FAT32 has filesize limit 4GB)
Case of NTFS:
Recorder prog's limit or not enoug space, or win allocation limitations.
Try a good Ati MPEG2 codec onto a big clean drive with a good Ati digitalizing Software, like Ati MMC...
