Thanks for the responses, I have installed the 17 bios from a file with the same name, are there two different 17 bios with the same file name? If so, im more than willing to reflash and try.
As for the speed, I have been waiting to try to resolve the bios temp issues before i try to totally play, but i have been running the chip at 3.2 (8 x 400) and it has been completely stable on stock voltage and minimal temp increase. ( 1-2 C increase from stock benchmarks)
Just trying to decide what to do if Abit doesnt have a bios update. No I remember why I buy mainly Asus boards.
