AVF some very knowledgeable people on there. Although like on here you can spend a LOT of time. The trader section always gets the occasional gem or two
As for subs I have no experience, though people seem more than happy to spend > £500 on something that makes the room shake. I just have a Jamo A102HCS5 set-up with the standard sub at the moment and it does enough for me with movies.
I have a pair of 1000C (Q Acoustic) Centre speakers as L+R channels for music - because I'm cheap like that. They sound good though
Just a bit gutted I didn't buy a third as well.
