| IP35 Pro with error 8.7 only when using Q9550
I've got the 8.7 (check CPU voltage) error after moving to a C2Q Q9550. My C2D E6750 works perfect on this board (ABIT IP35 Pro with Beta BIOS 18), but this new C2Q Q9550 gives me the 8.7 error. I already replaced the PSU, even had the C2Q Q9550 changed out for a new one. Nothing. All power leads (24, 4x, 4x, and 8x) are plugged in using a 650W Corsair PSU. I've even tried running it with just 1 stick of RAM, no hard drives, and even no video card. Nothing! I am going crazy here! Please help! Cant figure this one out. Any clues? |
