True, there are always plenty of people want to scam you, commit piracy upon you or otherwise just blow you up. Same with the EVE banking scene. And that's all condoned, its all part of the game if you are dumb enough to fall for it.
Sell off those ill gotten gains for cash however is a big no no and it'll have gotten his account banned
. If it's stolen in the game it stays in the game. That way the victim always has chance to steal it back
