Microdirect are one of the approved suppliers for Manchester University, so I use them quite a bit for (although I tend to collect items rather than get them delivered). Their service has always been good, their prices tend not to be the best, but are generally competitive (particularly for me, since I don't pay postage
). Also I doubt they'd stay on the university's suppliers list if there were any real problems with them...
