depends if you want it to future proof in the slightest. If you do, then a 9800pro is the only way to go. a 9600pro would do if you just want to play old games [eg Quake 3 engine ones like JK2/3]

a 9600 would run far cry etc aswell but not at full whack like the 9800 would =)

my vote is a for a 9800pro tho, with that CPU it would be a stonking pc =)
