| Another thing to keep in mind is the age and cost. My 1st car a Citroen AX (Ins grp 4) (F reg) was ancient and cost £400 (at the time) its insurance was the same as my 2nd car a Ford Ka (ins grp 2) (P reg) which cost £2000 (att). The Ka was safer and therefore a lower group, but the older car cost less so it was relatively cheaper to insure.
