| Sideways was brilliant, as was Million Dollar Baby and also Closer! 3 brilliant films released within weeks of each other.
As for the cinema's current releases:-
1. History of Violance - weird, weird, weird. Can't believe that its had good reviews.
2. 40 Year Old Virgin - amusing in an American Pie sort of way.
3. Cinderalla Man - I was disappointed with this. It's like a melodrama rather than Raging Bull.
4. War of the World - bland. The 50s B movie was better (and that's not saying much).
One of the best films I've ever seen, remains "Old Boy". |
