Recommend me a DivX/DVD (cheap) player

I'm after a cheap(ish) highly-compatible DivX/DVD player. It needs to be reasonably priced, preferably under £100, as I need to buy two of them (one for the lounge, one for the main bedroom).

It will need to play normal DVD's, DVD-R's, +R's, RW's, etc. MP3 would be a bonus but not essential. A HDD is not essential.

It will also need to play CD's and DVD's with DivX movies on them. One question though. If I have a file on my hard disk called abc.avi (DivX movie), how do I burn that onto a CD/DVD? Do I just copy it as a data file or is there a format for DivX movies on CD/DVD? If so, what software would I need as Nero doesn't seem to offer a DivX burning capability.
