| The finest imaging I've ever heard on in an audio system was on a competition level renault 5 of all things.
It had 2 horn drivers below dash level , 6 inch midbass in what appeared to be the standard door positions ( but they where in fact ninja modified underneath the grill to angle them better )
the sub was in a CFRP box where the battery box is usually in the Renault ( just behind the dash )
although there was nothing above knee level, the footsteps at the start of thriller where walking accross at chest level.
