As for NAS there are a couple of solutions floating about now. The Qnap TS-101 is a silent (fanless) single drive NAS box with Slimserver 6.2 built in. It's not exactly official/endorsed my SlimDevices, but they are sharing the same stand at some expo in London.

Then for a more high end NAS solution there is the Infrant ReadyNAS 600 or X6.

Both handle 4 SATA drives and RAID 0,1 and 5. The X6 however lets you add one drive at a time and will re-configure the raid to suit. You can also up the capacity of the array by replacing one drive at a time until they are all larger then it will span the lot. very clever.
Sorely tempted with the Qnap right now (more affordable) but would like an X6 as a general NAS solution in the future too.
