I want to point out something I noticed which may be relevent. In the episode with the orientation video, one of the scientists mentioned is a chap called Burrhus F. Skinner. Skinner was a psychologist who proposed theories of radical behaviorism, and using operant conditioning to improve society. Basically using positive and negative reinforcement to indoctrinate people into different types of behavior. Does this shed light on whats happening on the island? Or is this a false lead? |
