| you know im not homophobic, I have had gay friends in the past. I want to state that clearly first ok?
What I dont really like, or I should say the people I dont really wanna hang out with or interact with are the gay people that see being gay as the be all and end all of their personallities. I knew a girl once who was a friend of my g/f, she became a lesbian and that was all fine, what I noticed a few months down the line was that she was becoming a lot more overt with it, and thats fine. At some point tho she started to really focus on it and it became all she was, she wouldnt even go into a straight bar or club, she was only interested in anything if it was gay. and to be honest I find that a little weird that people want to become a sterotype to such extremes that it consumes them. I have had personal experience with several gay people at differing ends of the spectrum. I allways feel that its the ultra-camp ones that give homosexuality the bad reputation that it has with some people.
after all, Im straight but I dont shout about it or wave a gay flag.
ok flame me now... |
