Hi people, bit of a warning here for anyone thinking of buying the asus a8n-sli deluxe mobo, Dont! It has a faulty chipset fan that will start buzzing after 2-3 months,after that it may fail! I purchased mine here in uk 2nd jan 06 and the dreaded well reported buzzing noise is here. Apparently asus noticed this fault as the premium has a pipe cooler instead of the fan. Asus has even made a bigger, newer fan to replace the standard chipset fan, but people only find this out after reporting the fault.
I have always bought asus because of there reliability, and after spending over £1200 on a new system with a bad designed chipset fan on the mobo, which eventually will kill it,I feel obliged to report it and not let anyone else suffer the annoyance.
