I like the way people cower behind a "holiday" as an excuse to drink beer in dubious quantities when the reality is in general, we drink alcohol in dubious quantities every weekend anyway.

What a country we live in...

I personally haven't bought the whole alcohol thing myself, and so I don't celebrate St. Patrick's Day the way everyone else does. Theres just something about puking and / or waking up with a headache and an unstable feeling stomach that I'm just not comfortable with.

I dare to go on and say I think like sex, alcohol is grossly overrated, bare in mind this only my point of view and so a flaming is not in order

But yeah, if you want to celebrate whatever holiday it is, as long as doesn't harm anyone feel free.

But it recently came to my attention that waving the cross of St. George could offend some minorities...I think thats nonsense, this is England, if you can't parade your own country's flag in your own country it does say a lot about the country.

"We are ugly and we smell..."
