IMO, Paladins make raiding extremely easy. Their buffs seem to be far superior to those that a Shaman can do, you don't have to stand near the totem and you don't have to be in the same group to receive the benefit of the totem (meaning everyone in the raid can get all the buffs they want).
When I was in LiA (the leading guild on Quel'Thalas by far) we went through OL and MC like a hot knife through butter without even having decent end game blues, and I firmly believe it was so easy partially down to Paladins. I left shortly after coz it was too easy and kind of spolied the end game experience for me (coz the previous time in MC to being in there with LiA, we were struggling to kill Luci!) and am now in another guild where most people are 50-60 and we're about to merge with another guild (tonight actually) to give enough members to do MC and hopefully join the 6 current guilds raiding MC on the server.
I still have my lvl 60 Rogue and will play him if needed, but my Hunter is now over lvl 40 and I'm hoping that one day I can take her to MC and above. Problem is, I really have to cut down on how much I play during the week days as I admit, I was letting it take over my life and I played too much. So I've gone through and deleted all my chars except my 60's on Arathor, my 60 on QT, my Hunter on QT and two of my 10-19 PvP chars (one on QT and one on Eonar which I might also delete).
Hopefully this will help me cut down on my weekday play time, but I still hope to get my Hunter to 60 one day and raid with my Rogue in the mean time.
If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.
