If you are using stars it is obvious (most times) what the word should be and everyone will read the sentence as if the word was there. So, in my opinion it is just the same as if the word is spelt out. You should be able to express yourself with out swearing. Do you really think by swearing someone shows stronger opinions than someone who does not swear?
