We're trying to set up an SPV3100 to connect to the internet etc. (sorry to be vague, but I know little about mobiles). Anyway, as far as I can tell to set it up so it can access a pop3 email account (was gonna set up a gmail account if possible) we need to get it to connect via GPRS WAP. I've followed orange's instructions on their website, which didn't work. They don't tell you what username, password etc. to enter, just a network address and port 8080. When I then try to connect, it fails for 'an unknown reason'.
I've now been on hold to Orange customer service for 50 minutes (which is pretty shocking TBH
). I wonder if anyone with experience of these things could sort me out quicker? Why the hell the thing didn't ship with a working internet connection I don't know.
