I had a P900, still do, and I really like(d) it. It had some rough treatment from myself, for instance the plastic underneath the keypad had broken away, a blemish on the screen from where I sat on it on a box of tic-tacs, that kind of thing

The software is good, although on the P900 it was a little slow, the CPU seemed underpowered but I'm sure this has been fixed in the P990. As an example, I could text faster than predictive text could keep up, and keypad presses when writing a text would slow down horribly if there was an incoming call or text.

I upgraded to an HTC Wizard (MDA Vario), which I love (but you won't, it runs Windows ). Theres still a few things about the Sony I wish it had, and to a certain extent, vice versa.

OOoooooooh, how could I forget? The one thing in the P900 that REALLY irritated me, and I would be shocked to see if this wasn't fixed in the P990, was the way draft messages worked. If you wrote a text, or email, or whatever, and went off to go do something else it would save it as a draft, excellent. No. You could not get back to that draft via the keypad, you have to open up the phone, get to the drafts folder, then close it again and continue writing the message. Why oh why could this not be done via the keypad?!

Nothing to do with the P990i, but maybe useful none the less? Stuff to investigate anyway
