I hate it when I post pics and don't get a response, good or bad, so here you go...
I wasn't really grabbed by any of the pics, although your green leaf has interesting aspects of balance (weight as opposed to light), and your DOF and bookeh are great. The first pic I love the light, but not the picture. I've often tried very hard to achieve the shadowy look you've captured, but the subject matter didn't do anything for me. You might try seeing what it looks like B&W...might be more effective.
As for the last pic, nice subject matter, pleasant candid, but the overexposure doesn't work....there's too much ambiguity in the picture. I'd say the crop should be tighter so that although the overexposed areas are still not defined, you don't care 'cause they would make up a smaller part of the image.
POST SOME MORE PICS!!! I've been taking a friend of mine out for some photo sessions recently and I'm really into the whole 'tutor/feedback' mode, even though realisticly speaking I know nothing (although my name is not Manuel)...
