No, there is some misunderstanding again.
I said viewing HDTV was great. (Meaning live TV viewing). When viewing HDTV I am using only 8-9% CPU.

Maybe I should just discuss one thing at a time.
The main problem is that the mpeg that is produced by CMC, from recording a HDTV signal, will not play back in CMC in a stable or consistent manner. Nor will it play back in Windows MP with out some artifacts.
The recording process appears ok because I can convert it to Divx or an avi and the playback is then fine.
The mpeg of an HDTV recorded signal from CMC has some problems.
