Because Power Cinema 4.0 can not
offer graphical user interfaces for TV
channel management with TV channel
freqeuncy settings and TV channel type PAL B
or PAL D settings for every channel, I
created two profiles.
The first profile was for the PAL B
channels with country set as Germany.
The second profile was for the PAL D
channels with country set as Romania.
For PAL B profile, I scanned with POWER
CINEMA 4.0 application for all the
available PAL B channels. The detection
of all PAL B channels was correct (with
sound).
For PAL D profile the scanning and
detection of all available PAL D
channels was also correct (with sound).
I saved the PAL B and PAL D profile
files (found on C:\Documents and
Settings\user\Local
Settings\Application Data\PowerCinema)
in two dedicated folders: one folder for PAL B profile , the other folder for PAL D profile.
Before starting PowerCinema 4.0
application I have to decide what
profile to use: PAL B or PAL D, and to
load the dedicated PAL B or PAL D
profile files on path C:\Documents and
Settings\user\Local
Settings\Application Data\PowerCinema.
This trick worked very well.
The inconvenient is that in order to
change the profile (from PAL B to PAL D
or viceversa) I have to close the
PowerCinema 4.0 application, to load
the files from the other profile and to
restart the PowerCinema 4.0 application.

Is any other way to do TV channel
management for PowerCinema4.0
Application in a multistandard environment (PAL B PAL D)?
Is any other way to edit the TV configuration
files of PowerCinema 4.0 Application?
What configuration files do I have to
to change and edit?
